My Students
My students are very energetic and love to learn. They come from very diverse backgrounds, and most do not have the luxuries that some students are accustomed to. They never complain. My students love being at school because not only do they learn, but they have food and they are safe.
I teach the greatest second-grade students in the world.
Our school is a Title I school, and all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. They always strive to do their best despite the challenges they face outside of school.
My Project
My students are in constant need of having their pencils sharpened. Our class was very fortunate to have an electric sharpener in our room. Unfortunately, this week the sharpener quit working. It has given us many years of good use and like all good things, it came to its end. We are asking for two sharpeners for our classroom. One is a heavy-duty sharpener and the other is just a simple one that the students can use when mishaps occur and they need a quick fix.
Our students constantly use their whiteboards.
The dry erase markers are replacements for so many that have dried up or are drying up.
