Sharp Pencils for Sharp Students

Help me give my students tools to keep things sharp and to the point in Kindergarten.

My Project

In our Kindergarten class, everyone has a job, every day. One of those jobs is the Pencil Perfecter. At the close of the day, one student is responsible to sharpen the pencils at their table. The students love to use this machine to insure that their classmates are ready and raring to go the next school day. This builds a sense of community, a sense of responsibility, and a sense of satisfaction for a job well-done.

How is this to happen when our two classroom pencil sharpeners gave up the ghost at the end of the 2025 school year?
