My Project
I teach an incredible group of 5th grade students in a Title 1 school in Flushing, New York. My students come from diverse backgrounds and face a range of challenges, but they show up each day eager to learn and grow. What I love most about them is their resilience, curiosity, and how they support one another as a classroom community.
The copy paper will allow me to print differentiated math practice, visual supports, and graphic organizers that meet the unique needs of each learner.
The math game library and practice cards from Lakeshore will give my students fun, hands-on ways to build fluency, practice problem-solving, and reinforce key 5th grade math standards.
