Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Like most first graders, my students love coming to school, yet they struggle with reading and don't like writing. I want my students to enjoy reading and writing. Over the past few years I have been able to motivate my students to write using art. This year we are in need of our own classroom paper cutter and electric pencil sharpener.
These simple tools will enable me to teach science, social studies, writing, and reading and will enable the students to use digital cameras and other resources to make professional looking journals, diaries, poetry books and much, much more!
Your donations give kids a reason to want to engage in literary. Kids who don't like writing will love to create and decorate their books and journals. Kids can make creative character connections by decorating bright books with pencil drawings and craft supplies. Having our own in-class paper cutter and electronic pencil sharpener means we will be able to produce our own books in a timely manner.
My Project
Kids will learn the joy of creating their own books, diaries, and journals with an in-class paper cutter and pencil sharpener. Every supply you give makes every kid's First Grade experience ROCK! I plan to try harder to make sure every kid gets to experience creative fun in 1st grade. Your donations only make me a better teacher.
Help EVERY kid experience the fun of creating their own books, journals, diaries and poetry!
Every supply and tool you give us will allow my eager-to-learn 1st graders the opportunity to learn to love writing in a fun and artistic way. Our Donors ROCK!!!
