My students need plastic 2 pocket, 3 prongs folders to use as a take home folder. Pencils are always a must have to get anything done in the classroom Reading bags to encourage reading.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are eager, fun, caring and excited to learn! They come from diverse backgrounds from all around the world--South America, India, Mexico, China, and The United States. My students love exploring new activities, learning how to work together, and building social and academic skills. They work so hard every day at our low socio-economic, public school in Missouri. Anyone could see how motivated they are to pursue their love of learning. They are grateful and excited to have this opportunity to get our project funded!

My Project

Pre-sharpened pencils and plastic 3 prong folders always seem to disappear mid year so it will be amazing to start off with extra! This will insure my students are prepared for learning before they even arrive at school in the fall. These folders are durable and built to last the entire year!

Book bags will be so helpful to transport books from school to home to promote reading during and out of school!

I always like to encourage reading with parents and siblings at home so having a book bag for each student in the classroom will make this possible.
