it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to spend lunchtime socializing and learning ways to express themselves. During these small group circle times, my students are always ready for a yummy treat after sharing their thoughts and supporting their peers. One of the greatest things to come from these sessions is when parents say as a result of us discussing our thoughts and feelings together over a meal at school my students have been bringing this skill home to share with their family during mealtime. Unfortunately, not all of my students' families have the resources to send in a snack. As a community, we ensure that everyone has something to snack on. However, this will ensure that every child gets their own treat.
