My Students

Our students are eager to learn by doing. We use an arts-infused curriculum to encourage self-exploration, build self-confidence, and increase social and emotional development.

I enjoy working with my students, because they are some of the centers youngest learners, ages 14 months to 18 months old, and are eager to explore and learn more about the world around them.

75% percent of our students are eligible for free and reduced lunch, and 75% qualify for Head Start, Early Head Start, or state childcare subsidies. 87% of our families are single-parent households. We partner with our students and families to provide a high-quality early childhood education and resources to set them up for success.

My Project

I want to give our students new opportunities to learn to take turns. With students ranging between 15 months to 2 years, our little learners in our classroom are at the perfect age to foster collaboration and take the next step in their social-emotional development.

We're looking for equipment for playtime that will give them new opportunities to help each other.

With equipment like this Arches and Slide Climber, we'll set the stage for growth in so many ways, including math, STEM, language, gross motor skills, fitness, collaboration and so much more.
