My students need different ways to express their thoughts. They will be able to do this using dry erase boards, dry erase markers and dry erase circles.

The students in my class each have a voice and are made aware of how powerful their voice is. This school year we are mastering how to use our educational voices to share with and help others.
When I think of my students, the word different comes to mind.
I know that each and every one of my students are different from each other, and we celebrate our differences. I know this is true physically and also academically. My students are at different ability levels in every subject we attack. Some have strengths where others have weaknesses. We work as a team to overcome these gaps. My students know that the best way to help each other overcome obstacles or hardship starts with their voice. My students are aware that they must be able to share information to help others and learn for themselves.
My students will be able to use the resources from this projects to show and prove to others what they know and how they know it is correct. They will be using the whiteboard to share answers and work with each other. Whiteboards will create more academic talk within the classroom. Students will be able to use the dry-erase circles and dry-erase markers when they are at the kidney table. They will be able to share their thoughts on skill word that students will be working on. These things being requested for my classroom will be used in all academic areas. Students will be able to share their knowledge with others as well as learn from others by seeing what students know, and hopefully encouraging academic language.
Making a donation to my project with impact my students by giving them a way to express themselves in a non-threatening way.
Knowing that if a student makes a mistake, they can simply swipe their hand across their work and try again, is truly reassuring to the students. Also, these things will improve rapport within my classroom by allowing students to openly discuss educational topics with others and help each other grow.
