This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a 3rd grade math teacher, my goal is for my students to be able to share their thought processes and problem solving strategies with their peers throughout our lessons.
By showcasing their work, students have the ability to use their mathematical reasoning, build their confidence, and learn different perspectives!
The table furniture and document camera allows students to do exactly that and so much more!
Students will be able to proudly explain their reasoning while also developing their "math talk." Help me make this possible for my awesome little mathematicians!
