My Students
My students love learning! They are inquisitive and eager. It is a joy to see the wonders of the world through their eyes. They are excited and invested in their learning. I love how they are able to look past themselves and have empathy and understanding of others. They are a joy to teach.
My Project
Studies have repeatedly shown that books in the hands of children have a meaningful impact on improving literacy. The more books in or near the home, the more likely a child will learn to read and love to read.
Little Free Library book-sharing boxes help by providing open access to books in areas where books are scarce.
A Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. You do not need to share a book in order to take one. But if you take a book or two from a little library, you can bring some to share to that same library when and if you can. This Little Free Library will allow our students, their families and other community members access to free books.
