This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a resource teacher for students that have learning disabilities in grades 2-4. We work on our math, reading, writing, and social skills. We are always in need of supplies and storage space for our resource room. My students love to learn and like to use all of the supplies in the room. It is very difficult to organize because we use so many supplies on a daily basis.

We are truly delighted to be part of DonorsChoose.

We love the support that we receive for our classroom. My students will use the fraction materials for math. The fruit snacks will be used for our classroom rewards. The basic supplies like pencils and glue will be used for our everyday work. These tools will allow them to become life long learners.
