My Project
My students love to collaborate on a variety of projects including creating ways for houses to withstand floods, sharing math manipulatives, and research projects. I have a classroom of almost 30 students. Using round tables will allow students room to work both individually and collaboratively. They also provide some variety in seating arrangements for my very crowded classroom. Students change seats fairly regularly so I am trying to build in different kinds of seating.
Students are more engaged in their work and less disruptive to their peers when they are given a choice of where to work.
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The more options I can provide, the better environment my students will have for learning.
