Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students in my class are fun loving and hard working. They love to read and look forward to math and science. As a school located in an urban area, my students face many other challenges. For my students, school is a safe place where they come ready to learn everyday! My school is very proud of how hard our students work and the accomplishments they make each day.

These students are hard workers and are ready to learn so they can become future leaders in our community.

My Project

Having a document camera in the classroom will help students be able to see the assignment I am explaining as I explain the directions. It is wonderful for demonstration purposes. In addition to my being able to share with the students they can share the work they have done with the class by using the document camera as well.

Having a document camera would be beneficial to avoid having to make as many copies since students can see a document enlarged on the screen.

For easy accommodations I can use this document camera to take pictures of the assignment and print it out completed for students who may have been absent or needed additional support.
