This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from low income household and unfortunately they are unable to bring many of the basic supplies they need to be successful in school.

My students are a group of kids that are super social and full of life.

They come to school with more world experiences than academic knowledge. As their teacher I try to connect their world with the necessary school knowledge they need to be successful. I try to incorporate their natural social nature with our daily 'get up and move' family classroom rituals.

My Project

My students will effectively take tests with the Privacy Partitions. My students have been using stapled manila folders that keep breaking apart every other test which wastes the time they could be using for their tests.

Students will be able to do stations using the Write and Wipe pockets.

We'll use less paper and learn the importance of reusing. I can easily change the materials inside the pockets to meet the needs of every student. The Write & Wipe Pockets Storage Chart will keep our classroom neat and organized.

My students will be able to use their classroom time more effectively with these materials.
