My Students

Our classroom is a Conscious Discipline classroom. We believe in helping each other strive to be a school family every day. My job is to keep the kids safe, and it is their job to help keep it that way.

We are an energetic, rural, high poverty kindergarten classroom.

We realize that what we do each day helps us work toward our class mission of getting as ready as possible for first grade. We work toward a goal of self-motivation rather than reward-oriented goals.

My Project

Our kindergarten kids currently have swings, climbing equipment, slides, and a built-in play firetruck to play on during recess. They do not have any loose equipment to use to play games together.

We need these two recess kits with playground equipment like balls, jump ropes, and tossing disks to build cooperation and imagination skills.

Being able to split up all around the playground and play not having to stay on the equipment will help diversify our play time.

We want to get our kids running and moving to build their coordination, agility, and gross motor skills. Please help us help our kids to have fun recesses.
