This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am studying to become a certified yoga instructor to work primarily with students from K-5.

I am looking for support to help create the calm and comfortable space they need to learn the essentials of mindfulness, breathing techniques and ways to move their bodies to help them be prepared for inevitable stressors.

I want to provide yoga mats, yoga blocks for any of the aspiring yogis as well as other materials to help create a mindful space. I will also be able to use these materials to work with the faculty and staff at my school.
