Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Young children learn best through multi-sensory hands-on experiences. That is especially true in the art classroom. My little artists love exploring and creating with a variety of materials, particularly when they are tactile in nature. Crayola Model Magic is the perfect medium to cultivate and promote concept formation, fine-motor development, and creativity because it is easy for small hands to manipulate independently, dries quickly, and can be colored or painted to extend learning.
By donating to our project, you will not only help my little artists explore, create, and shape, you will also help to “shape” their self-awareness and self-esteem.
Many of our young students are developing socially and emotionally. Rolling, squishing, pressing and manipulating are calming and provide sensory feedback which promotes self-regulation. A calm body and self-expression through art instills confidence and self-esteem. The effects of your donation will go far beyond the classroom and impact my young students for years to come. Thank you for helping to “shape” my Little Artists!
