This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are diverse learners with a wide variety of learning styles. One thing that is common among all the students is the need for hands-on, interactive materials. Magna Tiles and Magna Blocks would be a great addition to our math center to assist the students in learning about geometric shapes while also encouraging imaginative play. The multicolored tiles and blocks are sure to grab the attention of our kindergarten and first grade students. As they build and create they will get a better understanding that shapes are all around us.
