Having vertical magnetic whiteboards to work on will provide my students with another avenue to work on basic skills that we cover in daily lessons such as letters, numbers, counting, shapes, and colors. In addition to the academic skills, working on a vertical surface allows the students to increase the muscle strength and coordination in their arms. The magnetic whiteboards will be used with dry erase markers to practice pre-writing skills such as tracing letters, numbers and shapes. They will also be used with magnets to spell the students' names, count objects, and sort colors and shapes. The possibilities are endless!
