This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious and creative my students are, especially when they're given the chance to explore real-world problems through hands-on learning. Many of them are visual and kinesthetic learners who thrive when they can build, test, and collaborate. Providing an earthquake engineering kit will empower them to think like scientists and engineers—designing structures, testing them on a shake table, and improving their ideas through teamwork. This resource will not only make earth science more engaging, but also help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and STEM skills that are essential for their future.
