My Students

My students are high school students studying both academics and a trade of their choice. Our school ensures both student academic success and career technical education mastery, as well as promotes enthusiasm for lifelong learning. My students come from different towns and different areas, thus they are very diverse. My kids come to school each day ready to work.

In this classroom, we are a family and we treat one another as such.

My students are struggling readers, but once a book peaks their interest, they are totally pulled in! Seeing a classroom of kids actually reading and being interested and invested in their reading is beyond amazing!

My Project

My goal is to offer students a variety of seating options so that they can choose which best suits their own unique learning style. Flexible seating will help students be comfy while learning! Students can fidget AND focus.

Flexible seating allows students to be in charge of their own learning, and when students take charge of their learning, they will be more successful.

Both bean bag chairs and balance balls are lightweight so they will make for easy and quick seating arrangements. Students can easily work independently or in cooperative learning groups from bean bags and balance balls.

All students CAN learn, and by giving them choice and comfort they will be more engaged, which will lead to higher academic success!
