Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

First graders are at a crucial stage in their educational journey, where they are developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills. An alphabet rug provides an interactive and engaging way for students to learn letters and sounds through kinesthetic activities. Table spots help to create defined spaces for small group activities, fostering a focused learning environment and encouraging collaboration among peers. Classroom stools provide flexible seating options, allowing students to choose a comfortable and supportive seat that suits their learning style during small group instruction. Together, these resources not only support differentiated instruction but also promote active participation and academic success for first graders as they embark on their learning adventure.
