This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are an amazing, vibrant collection of enthusiastic artists in a Title I inner-city, coastal Connecticut community. 100% free lunch and there never seems to be an end to other urgent needs.

We welcome many immigrants and transient families to our community and engage students as they navigate every kind of emotional and social challenge that you can imagine.

Economic need is high, but creative passion is even higher! Please help our creative and talented students touch the wonderful materials they need to thrive and explore.

My Project

My Kindergarten and first grade students especially like the African marimba and teeny gong that I purchased to accompany the puppet station. They sure are enjoying adding sound effects to the show!

Many squabbles have been occurring over these precious instruments, so I am hoping to provide more variety and excitement by creating an entire music station with this drum, bell set and shaker set.

The fruit basket shakers will be wildly popular in the play kitchen!!!! They may also make is to the stage as a puppet characters. These versatile and exciting instruments will provide endless new adventures in our world. Thank you for your support!
