My Project
How are shadows made? Do different types of light reflect shadows differently? What if the light is in a different spot? Do all things make a shadow? These are just some of the questions my students have while learning about shadows.
The laser light pens will allow my students to use a different light source to see how shadows and see what happens when different types of light reflect off different materials.
The light pens are small enough and light enough that students will be able to move them all around the object they are experimenting with to see what happens with light-based on the object.
My students love hands-on science and they have many questions that would be more fun for them to experiment and find the answers than it would be to just tell them or have them read about the answer.
