My Project

Sewing is not only an important life skill and an outlet for creativity; it has many other benefits that are transferable to life.

Sewing can teach students to plan and organize your projects.

Sewing can teach students to manage their time effectively and how to meet a deadline.

Sewing can teach students to develop patience, perseverance, and flexibility.

Sewing can also foster and sense of tradition and legacy. America has a long tradition of sewing to make communities stronger.

Sewing can serve as an anti-dote to an over automated world in which children currently find themselves.

I would love to teach students at my school the skills of sewing and encourage them to see the world in a new way!
