This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I currently have a list of materials that I would like to get for my class room. We are currently in the second half of the school year and I have several projects that I am working on with each individual grade 1st and second grade. I am working on musicals and puppets third grade. I am working on improv and improv games and fourth grade, I have put together a mix of improv games as well as challenging the students to write direct and put together a two minute short film. I realize that getting up on stage it's not for everyone and I don't want to traumatize any students by doing so. But I do want to tap into their creativity by using whatever their interest they have to put together a short film whether it be writing editing, directing camera work the whole thing. By doing the short film project and my fourth grade classes I really want to challenge them to look at a project from beginning to end. I want to challenge them to harness their creativity and find the thing that they are good with.
