My Project

At our school, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students with hearing loss. This summer, we are excited to offer specialized programming to help our students continue developing their skills in a hands-on, inclusive way. However, to make this possible, we need essential materials to enhance learning and keep our classroom well-stocked for success.

How These Materials Will Help:

Laminating Sheets & File Folders/Boxes – We use laminated visuals and schedules to support students’ language development and independence. These tools are essential for helping students with hearing loss navigate their learning with clarity and structure.

Science Kits – Hands-on learning is critical for our students, and these kits will allow them to explore STEM concepts through interactive experiments, fostering curiosity and problem-solving skills.

Batteries – Extra batteries ensure that essential devices remain powered so students can fully engage in lessons and activities.

Soap & Sponges for Cleaning – A clean and healthy learning environment is crucial, especially for students with sensory needs. Keeping our classroom tidy ensures that all students feel comfortable and safe while learning.

Computer Dongle - This will help us connect our computers to our classroom smart board so that lessons remain engaging and easy for all to see.

Storage Bags - These will help us organize our curriculum materials that are currently stored in single use bags.
