My Project
Hello! I'm getting ready to start my first year of teaching and working hard to build a classroom where every student feels welcome, safe, and ready to learn. The materials in this project like pencils, paper, mini whiteboards, calculators, colored pencils, markers, rulers, number lines, and dry erase markers, will help support meaningful learning every day. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will be used to differentiate resources so all students have exactly what they need for lessons. I also included essentials like tissues, hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, hand cream, inspirational posters, feminine hygiene products, and phone chargers so students feel cared for and comfortable in our space.
Many of my students come from under-resourced communities, and I want to make sure they don’t have to worry about showing up without the supplies they need to be successful.
I’ve also included organizing tools to help me keep track of student work and keep our classroom running smoothly. These small things add up and go a long way in creating an environment where students feel supported.
My goal is to build a clean, organized, and encouraging space where students know they matter and have the tools to be successful right from the start. I appreciate any help you can offer towards this project and thank you for helping me create an amazing space for my students!
