Help me give my students the tools they need for academic success in a social and independent learning environment including charging stations, headphones, stamps, math manipulatives, and stability balls.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
During the height of the pandemic, students became very used to working on their iPads while sitting comfortably at home. On top of this structure, students are already in need of flexible seating for engagement needs.
In light of all of this, I am attempting to create a more "hands-on" approach to learning with the center supplies, while at the same time giving extra support to the tech side of instruction.
Students need to "unplug" and be given opportunities for collaboration and socialization in the learning environment.
At the same time, we still need to support technology needs with basic supplies such as charging stations and headphones. For our students in particular, having these basics will solve a simple obstacle to using technology in the classroom.
