My Students

My classroom is full of energetic, eager, engaged and inquisitive students ages 3-6 years old. We are part of a public early childhood Montessori school that believes in following the child, allowing the child to work at their own pace to learn and discover the world around them. My students take pride in their work and what they can do to showcase their knowledge.

My Project

This is a project for half of the read alouds for the entire year for my students! This project would provide my students with enough read alouds until February! My students will be focusing on the following thematic units through these books: explore my life, listen and explore, listen and retell, listen and understand and listen and learn. Each thematic unit will teach my students different literacy skills that are applicable to their every day life while aiding in the foundations of phonics and phonemic awareness.
