Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help my class start out a new year ready to learn! Our room needs to be a fun place for students to spend their days learning. I want everyone to feel happy and welcome in our classroom. They should want to be there every day. I will use some of the project supplies to make that happen.

My students need supplies to get our year started off on a positive note.

New supplies will enable us to do our assignments in every subject. We will be more successful in our learning if we are prepared with the materials we need. Having new whiteboards and markers will help when we are trying to solve math problems, especially learning division and multiplication. We will also use them when doing our reading and science. Privacy dividers will offer each student their own space. Mesh bags and pencil sharpener will enable the students to be responsible with their own supplies.

I have also included beads to encourage and motivate students to return homework and data binders. As students earn the beads, they will be displayed on chains in our Motivation Station so everyone cans see how well our class is doing. Prizes will be given throughout the year for students earning beads.

This project will not only help us get ready for the new year but will help us stay on track and motivated throughout the year.
