My Project
Each year, the entire Middle School dives into note-taking. We use markets, colored pencils, and gel pens to organize our thoughts. Having a voice is an essential component to academic growth through the written word or through a visual medium. Creating a culture where a composition book could be a child's portfolio has the ability to impact a student.

In Language Arts, students will respond to weekly writing prompts. Students will also write and illustrate poetry. In Science, students will illustrate and label scientific models. In the School Garden, illustrate and label plants for the chickens. In History, generate journals centered around historical events. Each class will use a different composition when completing their tasks.
