My Project
There’s nothing quite like the first day of school- the buzz of excitement, the fresh supplies, and a classroom full of students ready to learn and grow. But making that day (and every day after) run smoothly takes a lot of behind-the-scenes preparation and a whole lot of essentials.
This project will help stock our third-grade classroom with the tools we need to stay organized, prepared, and ready for success.
Items like hanging files, packing tape, and printable labels will help keep student work and materials neat and accessible. Laminating sheets will allow me to create durable learning tools we can use all year long. A working classroom clock will help students manage time and transitions, and a new pencil sharpener will ensure we’re always ready to write, draw, and create.
I’ve also included snacks, because learning is hard when you’re hungry. Many of my students come from homes where food isn’t always guaranteed, and I never want a child to sit through a lesson distracted by an empty stomach. These small but meaningful items help me meet their basic needs so they can focus, thrive, and feel cared for.
