This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me create a positive and supportive environment with a Classroom Theme that makes learning visible. "Setting the Scene" for 2nd Graders builds an experience of successful academic performance and social-emotional well-being. My custom classroom theme gives students a sense of belonging, motivates engagement, encourages collaboration, sparks stronger relationships, and fosters our Classroom Culture.

This classroom theme creates a space where my students feel safe, supported, and motivated to grow academically and socially-emotionally; and are ready to engage in learning because they feel comfortable, respected, and valued.

A well-designed classroom, with stimulating visuals and fun interactive displays, will give my class a sense of community and help all students feel included. It can also contribute to improved mental health and well-being, a stronger sense of self-efficacy, and renewed confidence.

My classroom theme promotes teamwork so students can share their ideas and work together. Educational environments contribute to an overall positive school climate.
