This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a wonderful group of rising 4th Graders who are very motivated to learn, despite some academic challenges that they have encountered.
Help me set them, and their classroom, up for success during small group instruction.
During this time I will be pulling small groups of selected students, and these materials will help me target their specific needs in mathematics. Other students might be listening to stories on their Chromebooks, so we will need headphones to provide everyone with the best environment conducive to their learning styles.
The mathematic manipulatives and materials are just what my students need to fully engage in their learning while also providing much needed scaffolding. The portable white board will also allow me to have a place to have students come up and work on problems that I can use in any space within the classroom.
