This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school holds a large population of volleyball lovers, players, and supporters. In order to boost our program and accommodate our high participation numbers, we need an addition of knee pads, scrimmage jerseys, and other items.

With these resources, we will be able to better utilize our time and limited space while sustaining a program for future athletes.

Each day after school, numerous young ladies passionate about volleyball gather at the court, eager to acquire new skills and engage in drills to enhance their game. These athletes form a tight-knit community, akin to a family, as they bond over their shared love for the sport. Despite their diverse backgrounds, the volleyball court serves as a platform for unity and inclusivity. These dedicated athletes tirelessly strive for improvement, embodying the spirit of hard work and determination. With over 1,000 students enrolled, the volleyball program is expected to attract a significant portion of the student body each year.
