My Project

Serve, Share, & Smile is all about helping and thinking about others. This project will include gifts bags filled with a craft, soft stuffed animals, snacks, stress balls, and chocolate. We will fill gift bags for residents at a local Memory Care Facility in the community.

My goal is for students to be aware of and think about the needs of others.

We will discuss how folks who live in this type of facility may feel sad or be lonely. We CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND SHARE CARING! Small things done with love will change the world!

My students have intense learning needs and are in a special education classroom. However, they are able to feel and understand human emotions. By learning about empathy and compassion, we can share our JOY and LOVE with others.
