My Students

Our second-graders love to engage and challenge each other. They come to school excited to see each other, ready to share and explore learning.

Our kids focus on building relationships and partnering with peers to see learning from different perspectives.

We work hard to understand our different experiences and background which gives us all an opportunity to learn from each other. We love to communicate with each other and ask questions. The best part is when we notice the learning and celebrate together.

My Project

Our class has the beginning of many series that the kids have loved reading. They have been eager to share the books and read on to learn more about the characters. However, they just can't get enough.

When kids start begging for the next book in the series, I know that we have done well to create a lifelong reader.

It is my hope that by providing the many books that come next in the series, kids will continue to read.

With these books our classroom library will have many more books at the fingertips of the kids, right where they should be.
