My Students

Each year, I am blessed with an amazing group of children, whom I learn from daily. They come in each morning with so much to share with the class and me. They are full of life and want to share that with everyone around them. At the beginning of the school year, my students enter second grade as shy first graders. However, when they leave for third grade they are strong, confident, and determined. Being part of this process is what makes teaching so beautiful.

My Project

I am specifically asking for series books. I have been teaching second grade for six years and every year my students love reading series books. I've noticed that many student enjoy reading series books because there are multiple books in each series and they find it exciting to read them all!

Every school year, I always look for new series that I believe my students will enjoy.

I hope that the series books that I have chosen will be of great interest to my students. Having interesting books, is one of the key factors in helping children become life long readers.
