Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This diverse, excited group of friends is always ready to learn! We love to explore, think, and try new things throughout the day. Each student comes ready to learn and share their ideas with each other. My students come from many different backgrounds and have a variety of different needs in reading, writing, and social development. With 22 diverse friends from various parts of the country and world, we have lots to share with each other!

My classroom is warm and welcoming; a safe place for students to be themselves.

I ensure that the needs of every student are met to help them be their most happy and successful self. Our school supports students from Pre-K to 3rd grade and having such little friends under our care comes with great responsibilities!

One thing that we would like you to know is that we are always working hard to be the best 'us' we can be and hope you can help us achieve our dreams!

My Project

Our class has really developed a love for reading throughout the school year! We are now moving into our series study were students will have the opportunity to meet characters and go on reading adventures.

I noticed that my classroom library was really lacking these loved books with common, consistent characters.

Your donation will give my students the chance to follow Mr. Putter and his cat Tabby on their crazy and fun adventures! The Fly Guy series is great for the non-fiction lovers of the class. Students will also solve mysteries with Cam Jansen. Don't forget Iris and Walter and even Poppleton! These characters have lots of fun adventures learning valuable lessons!

These books will offer students the valuable opportunity to study characters across books as well as deepen their love of reading!
