My Students
Each year, I am blessed with an amazing group of children, whom I learn from daily. They come in each morning with so much to share with the class and me. They are full of life and want to share that with everyone around them. At the beginning of the school year, my students enter second grade as shy first graders. However, when they leave for third grade they are strong, confident, and determined. Being part of this process is what makes teaching so beautiful.
My Project
I am requesting different series books for my students. The ones requested are books that my students have asked for. They love reading series books and asked if I could get some more. They found some of these titles in the library and brought the books to class to show me the ones that they wanted. I am so grateful that they love to read and am requesting books. These books are books that they choose so this will increase their reading times and reading interests as well. Seeing students eye light up when they find a book that they love makes teaching very worth it!
