Sentence Strips, Markers and a Timer for Third Grade!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Sentence strips can be a reliable and popular teaching aid for cursive and manuscript writing.
The students will be using the black Sharpie markers to write their weekly spelling words on the sentence strips.
At the end of the week, these words can go on the word wall which will be a wonderful reference for them. In addition, students love to play heads up using the word cards. They would stand in front of the classroom holding the word over their head (not seeing it of course). Next, their classmates would take turns giving them clues to help them figure out what the word is.
The children have written and learned so many vocabulary words since the beginning of the school year. Now we are out of supplies and in need of items to be replenished.
