My Students
Kindergarten is the first year of traditional schooling. The goal in my kindergarten classroom is for students to learn social skills and fundamental basics of knowledge that will guide them through the next 12 or more years of school. Over half of my wonderful kindergarten students are learning English. Their diverse backgrounds make our classroom a wonderful place to be!
My rambunctious kindergartners are experiencing all the new thrills of school and are excited to learn new things each day.
My students come together each day with the same goal: to learn new things and create new friendships. They are excited about learning letters, numbers, and the foundations of reading and math!
My Project
My wonderful young learners are explores, engineers, architects, problem solvers, and hunters. They love learning new things in their first year of school. One of their favorite things is learning that involves sensory materials.
Recently we received amazing sensory materials for our light table, but we need the sensory tray to be able to use the materials.
With the sensory tray, sand, and dough, we can incorporate sensory learning by hunting for letters, words, and numbers.
We can exploring measuring and pouring using the materials as well.
Without the tray, our light table sensory station won’t work in our classroom! Please considering helping us obtain this final piece to our sensory light table learning center!
