Sensory Toys for Speech Room

Help me give my students sensory tools such as a swivel chair, weighted toy, squeeze toys and bouncing donut.

My Project

My students are amazing! They are eager to learn and participate in new activities, however they often have difficulty paying attention and have many sensory needs that I address throughout the day.

My students are 5 to 14 years old but are all functioning at a preschool level academically.

All of my students have limited social skills and have significant language deficits in expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language skills. They need sensory tools and manipulatives to help engage them in learning and increasing language skills. I am also requesting fidgets that they can keep in their desks.

I am requesting sensory toys that will be used to increase my students visual and tactile experience to help them stay calm and engaged. I am requesting spinning chairs, bouncing donut as well as hands on toys to encourage participation.
