This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sensory objects help our students on the Autism Spectrum safely explore the world, learn new things all while meeting their needs for sensory regulation. We have a very different classroom than the one you might be imagining, our students have specialty goals and needs. We need things low light and quiet, but some of our friends are very loud. That's where noise-cancelling ear muffs come in.

Sensory exploration is a way that we can help our preschoolers learn and grow.

Unfortunately my teacher budget is very small, so I am hoping that you will be able to help us!
