My Project
In my classroom, I have students with various social-emotional needs. I am seeking more sensory toys to meet my students' sensory input needs. These items will be placed in our calm-down area where students can access them when they need a break or feel overwhelmed. As an inclusion teacher, I strive to give my students what they need to be successful in the classroom. I believe that the items in this project will help my students in so many different ways. The trampoline will help my students with ADHD relieve some energy. The weighted stuffed animals will give my students comfort. Sensory toys can help students in so many ways. Sensory toys help relieve some stress and anxiety for students with disabilities such as depression, anxiety, autism and more.
