This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My amazing students would benefit from sensory books, toys and fidgets. Sensory books are beneficial for these students because they seek sensory items to promote their learning.

Sensory based learning is important for my young group of students to engage then in learning and help develop language and motor skills.

Sensory toys and books also have a calming effect, promotes cognitive growth, and helps with language skills. Fidgets are beneficial for my students that struggle with stress and anxiety in the classroom. Fidgets help my students stay focused on learning while relieving stress.
