My Project
Students on the autism spectrum and with significant sensory needs deserve the chance for inclusion in the general education environment. The items in this list will help make this possible! My goal with this project is to provide tools to assist my students in being involved with their same-aged peers as much as possible.
Access to sensory tools should be commonplace for students in all school environments.
This project is a step in that direction! Students will benefit from the items listed here in a specified sensory room, as well as in their resource room and in their general education classrooms. Providing students with access to these tools will not only help with sensory needs, but will allow for growth and learning in the classroom. It will also bring attention to how universal sensory tools can be!
