My Project

Many individuals with autism experience sensory processing differences, where they may be hypersensitive or hyposensitive to certain sensory inputs. Sensory toys provide a controlled way to engage with different sensory stimuli, helping students regulate their sensory experiences and reduce sensory overload or anxiety.

Sensory toys, such as stress balls, tactile fidgets, or weighted blankets, can have a calming effect on students with autism.

These toys provide tactile feedback and deep pressure stimulation, which can help reduce anxiety, promote relaxation, and improve focus.

For some students with autism, sensory toys can serve as a tool to increase attention and engagement in learning activities. By providing a sensory-rich environment, these toys can help capture and maintain students' interest, making learning more enjoyable and accessible.
