Sensory Tools for the Resource Room

My Project

As a resource teacher in high school. We don't get a lot of tools and supplies to help students manage their behavior. Mobile phones have been one of the major problems that we encounter since going full in-person after the pandemic. Thus, Gaining access to the sensory items will help regulate the kids on my caseload, as well as the ones that I support in their respective classes to avoid using their phones and to help them manage and de-escalate any aggressive behavior. Additionally, notebook supplies and portfolios will provide students that have no means to get them to be able to access this for their class. Lastly, being able to access Teachers Pay Teachers resources can help me optimize learning and browse over hundreds of lessons to teach my student and help them grow academically as students.

I really hope that this project can be funded to show my students that I care for their education.
